With Ron on board you'll get everything worked out and this thing running like a serious beastie. Good luck!

I think that answers some of the questions above.

That being said, keep the saw-z-all and the hot wrench warmed up and close by.

Looking really good Grendel. it's progressed a lot since I saw it. I'm glad you're finishing it. It's going to be sick just like your other builds. I hope to see it before the cold weather comes back.

Some Wheel designs I think that would look killer.

So, yeah... the 21" and 20" rim combo is gone.

Order BFG Rival S's today. Trying to go square on 335's but we'll see. I know a 315 will fit the front.

I think these would look real nice! The colorway gives a more sophisticated look compared to the common grey centers.

Got a little time to dink around with this.

One of the things that really bugged me: The rear shelf was cut excessively large for the DSE mini tubs, and never patched. Generally, it's not an issue for most cars, but in mine, that's where the Tiger Cage bolts through... which would be a major issue. In the cut pics, the large square shape is the stainless Ride Tech backing plate to the rear cage section. I imagine it's designed to be covered. This is how I got it last year. Finally got some time this week to play with it for an hour.

So cut it out more and added material that is welded to the wheel tub, the rear deck and the "frame". I feel that tying this into the cage system by Ride Tech will add a bunch of rigidity.

I'll spend some time with the grinder and clean the welded up, then drill for the cage bolts... I can't imagine it's going anywhere now. I also took the vent system out, it will get a charcoal canister on the gas tank vent.

Some pics for you.

One of the other things that bugged me was how the gas tank was mounted with two 3/16" thick bolts in the front of the gas tank straps through some pretty thin material. That 16.5 gallons at 6.3 lb per gallon hanging off what looks like 20 or 22 gauge sheet metal.

So I welded in some 14g that will get braced to each other. Now the sloshing can do whatever it wants. They will also take 3/8" bolts like the adjuster is on the other side.

Also, since we're changing up a the car, I am thinking about dropping the stripes... I've seen a couple of cars with carbon fiber stripes and I am not a fan.

I also asked Ben to add the 18" Budniks Jay last posted to see what they look like on the car. The 20/21" Forgelines are not a part of this and will be sold off.

Thoughts?
