Well looks like I posted that too soon! Thanks guys but after final welding the panel had a bit of warpage so I drilled out 200 plug welds and tossed that one in the dumpster too

I had the holes for the welds spaced .500 apart and after looking at it I think a bit overkill.

The wheels are chromed but not in my hands yet. They went back to Evod for painting of the simulated sidewall and other details along with mounting the tires.

Greg, done!

Sooo, I finally installed another bastard whore trunk floor into this thing. Changed the design and copied the one in my 59 Cadillac. (same bead width and spacing).

Hat channels are 16 gauge, floor is 18 gauge. Turned out really nice and is strong as hell. Never thought it would be this much work!

Hi Andrew.

I haven't done a damn thing actually. Broke myself buying a new house that has a ton of garage space (2 car, 4 car and a 36x47) but don't currently have a functional shop.

The wheels did finally arrive and they actually fit the car this time which is nice.

It appears you are right as I am definitely not GW! Added another car which doesn't help either.

Got as far as gas/220 ran out and new trusses installed for lift clearance. Resume again in the spring.
