Default 69 Vert Freshen up.

Hi all i have previously posted a little about this car in the welcome forum so i may repeat a little about the car again for those that haven't already seen it.
After a long time looking for a 69 i found my new ride on e-bay in the usa,( i live in Australia). After not bidding initially i got in contact with the owner via e-mail to find out that the car was unsold but still available and interest was beeing shown by myself and two others. Long story short i made an offer and terms that suited us both and a deal was done. Only afterwards, did i find out that the owner was a forum sponsor here Marquez Design. Once i checked out his web site and an exchange of many e-mails and phone calls it was decided to give the car a freshen up before bringing it back to Aust.
The car didn't really lack for much as you can imagine she has all the Marquez goodies fitted already. A new interior, tmi seat covers, new paint job' engine bay smooth out, wheels, 3" borla exhaust, new cam and a whole lot more will be added.
Suppose i should mention it is a 69rs/ss 502 bb baer discs, factory cortez silver with hockey stripe, all nos sheetmetal, power top,6 speed transmission, sanderson ceramic headers and much more.
I have a ticket booked to San Francisco in May to check out progress hoping it will be pretty much finished.
A few pics of the car before the tear down.
I must say this site has been a great source of ideas and inspiration.
Cheers Mark.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, really appreciate it.
Well since last post i have been to the USA and had a great time while i was there.
The guys at Marquez design were a great bunch of fellas and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and make my trip a memorable one. Drove me hundreds of miles over 3 days gave up a lot of their own time and made me feel very welcome. I did actually see my car aswell by the way. Well it wasn't as far along as i hoped for but i didn't realize just how much of a perfectionist Pasqual was. It is getting a lot of tlc and will be well worth the wait in the end. Gee i read all the time how other builds take years to complete and i now have a deeper understanding of what they must go through. I suppose do it once and do it right.

Well a few pics of where it is at the moment.
Mark
