I know I know. 20" rear wheels won't put it down but I don't care. I'll have more than one set of wheels for the car. I decided to leave the rear brakes small enough to be able to put some meat under there. The car is not a purpose built or conventional build by any means, I just felt like building something different that will be fun to drive no matter what. Comments and questions are definitely welcome...
I started this build out of my garage and then first graduated to a 900 sq. ft. shop and finally to a 2,000 sq. ft where it will be for a while. Here are some of the previously unreleased garage shots...haha
All this was hauled away by a buddy who sold everything on Craigslist and actually made some decent cash!! Damn...I should have kept everything!!!
A little Simple Green goes a long way! I think there was some laquer thinner in there as well...
The next task was to brace this shell of a Camaro truer than it was....at least I like to believe that!
Dan, Welcome! Hellacious build right there. Wow. I've been overusing this new guns emoticon, but man you deserve it!
We are right up the road in Gilroy at my buddy Rich's shop. Hope to hook up with ya sometime.
Gee really? It only took a bazillion more horsepower to make you afraid?
HaHA...Thanks Man. I think I know the place (near the old Ford dealer turned trailer?) and we may have a few mutual friends. I may need another set of eyes from time to time. I feel way in over my head most of the time. We'll catch up soon then.
That motor is pure bad a$$ Dan. Way to step up! Was that built by Beck out of AZ? Your rendering looks killer too
Yeah...I was fortunate enough to get a motor from him. He screwed a lot of people out of a lot of money. He still owes me a few things but it's a lost cause trying to get anything out of the guy. Many have tried and few have succeeded. I was one of the lucky ones. He can build great motors but can't figure out how to run a business. I tried and tried to get what was owed to me and got nowhere
