I think it takes away from the classic nature of the car thought. Mainly because I think it takes it from something that everyone can appreciate to something that a portion of people will look at as too much. well its been a while since I gave an update on the duck. so here you go.


I have been locking down the final body shapes and lines and because of that I spent quite a while laying things out on paper in the form of scale drawings. Once I locked in the side profile I wanted, I then moved onto a direct front view. Once this was finished I had both views printed out in full scale and from there used them to cut out the start of the wooden buck.

Your project is going to be one awesome ride! I am going to follow this build thread until the car is completed. Excellent fabrication skills and build design. Keep up the great work and continue shooting more photos!

Full scale print outs, that makes sense. I wondered how they set up the profiles for a buck.

I'm excited to vicariously follow along!
