The Eighth Amendment (Amendment VIII) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights (ratified December 15, 1791) prohibiting the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishments, including torture.

Sorry for the delay guys!

Well finally getting back to some updates on our Lemans. We were able to participate in two events last year until we had an engine failure. The car felt good but we really didn't get much testing completed. We knew the engine was a weak link since it was a used junk yard pull, but didn't anticipate this weak. After taking the engine apart it just appeared the engine had a rough life with minimal oil changes.

The engine is out of the car and is at Conklin Racing Engines, the block checked out good and the building has begun. All the engine internals came from Texas Speed. We also are installing a Holley baffle in the Holley 302 pan to help prevent oil starvation. We also have a set of AFR Mongoose 230's that came in and the should compliment the Magnuson nicely. A T56 Magnum from Bowler Transmission on order and it should be in shortly. Things are moving along well.

Haha. Thank you sir! We are very happy with the power of the car from the AFR's and Magnuson, I am glad to hear you got to see it in action. We are still fighting the suspension a little but starting to get it dialed it.

I will try to keep this thread updated more. Thanks for looking and sharing

Hello Everyone,

It has been some time since I have updated this thread, I apologize. I am going to get back on it. The car is running and working good... I will be sure to get some updated photos posted.

I will start with our new transmission crossmember we just built for it. Currently this is just a one off prototype but I thought it came out really good.

We've been running the LeMans at road courses and auto-x lots across the East Coast. I figured I'd revive this thread with the latest dyno sheet. Torque curve looks like we should race in Kansas!

We have been flogging this car at almost every event this year. Not too much to post about this car since it's been working so well.

We threw our latest Corner Max kit on the front which is new control arms, coil overs and sway bars.

With this kit, the car has only gotten faster. We keep clicking away and getting closer and closer to the top guys. We also recently swapped out for a Currie Enterprises rear as well.

I'll keep you updated on this as we move forward with the car.
