We took a brake from the Transmission and mounted the 5th gen console in the car for its test fit. It's going to work out pretty good with the B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. The cable might be a trick but we have a few ways to try.

Interesting carpet pattern. Not sure it goes with the overall flow of the car though lol

Thanks Skip.

The first time I saw a 5th gen Camaro I thought about how sweet I thought it would look in there but that was way on the back burner back then. Then I saw jwcarguy's build with it installed in his 68 and it stuck in my head again. I picked it up a couple of years ago and now I can finally use it. I bought Autometer gauges for the car, but Dakota Digitals would look sweet in the 5th gen gauge pod.

A couple of days ago we installed the finch Vent, and measured the hoses so they could be sent to crimp them. I got an e mail they are on there way back.

We got the shift cable installed and it feels pretty good. Here's what we did to the shift lever.

Here's what we ended with. I have an aluminum pane ordered, the cable should make it by on that one.

Wow, Wayne, before long you're going to walk out into the garage and say,
" Well, time to strip this thing down for paint!"
