Default Tire Question

i've been looking at the BFG g-Force Sport COMP-2 for the tires for my '68 Camaro.
These are directional tires.
I'm leaning toward 275/40-18 on 9.5" rims for the back, and 245/40-18 0n 8" rims for the front. what does everyone think? There has been no alterations to the chassis, all stock.

Those sizes should work fine. I run the very same sizes on my '69 Firebird. Do your homework on the correct backspacing though. My rears are 6" b.s. with a 61" wms to wms axle(Pontiacs were 1" wider than chevy). Fronts also vary if using aftermarket hubs/spindles. (Wilwoods can offset up to .190" each side) Also watch front backspacing for steering arm clearance, especially if bumpsteer shims are going to be used.
