The first things I would recommend are: swaybar, shelby drop, power steering and then a coil over kit or good shocks and 620 springs.

Why power steering, Craig? Like an entire rack and pinion or adding the ram type power steering that came original?

A power steering box from ABS or Borgeson. It is a must have because it has a quicker ratio making the car a pleasure to drive and park. Also, if you autox a car you cannot physically move your hands fast enough with a stock box to unwind the wheel coming out of a tight turn. Finally once you start adding enough caster for proper geometry (6.5 to 9 degrees) you will not be strong enough to move the wheel fast and precisely.

Most of the rack kits are junk, the ABS has a better feel than the Borgeson but is slightly larger and requires some hammer work to fit.

Default Welcome

Great to have another Falcon on the board....my project is now "down under" but was an East Bay car till 2013 ( center of the Modified Falcon universe it seems ).
I have progressed a lot since the pic, last pieces of the interior going in this week, a little more wiring to tidy up. Has G8 strut front suspension/brakes/power rack, 4-link on 10-bolt Salisbury LSD. Strut conversion not started at time of photo.
Drivable for 10 days now........
