Over the weekend at the Motorstate Challenge I got to meet James Shipka and see the One Lap Camaro to my knowledge for the first time. With those cars competing, it was like 2008 all over again.

Highly vintage, from back in the day when people used to build things instead of hitting the easy button!

As a Ford guy that's owned a few Chevy's I am not insulted, Heck you saved that car from it's ultimate demise.
A job well done in my opinion!

I had pondered the idea of putting an LS in my Torino due to finances & performance, but I am too old and ornery to put up with peoples SH...y comments. I think it would have lead to a cage match, lol.

Lets not forget to add --- back in the day when WINNING something wasn't the goal. It was to build something you loved and go have fun with it.

Yeah, back in the day when it was considered a win if you didn't have to load your car onto a trailer to go home!

James's car is based in Indy right now. He did drive it a couple hours to Motorstate in Michigan which was awesome in my book. My ride was 12 hrs, my hearing is bad enough now from years of being around drag racing and 4 daughters. I don't think I could take the side exhaust for that long, pretty sure the car would do OK though. It is a "Hammer" to be used when needed LOL. If you notice I ran the exhaust all the way out the back on the AMC.

Ron, I'm not knocking you for trailering the Muttstang! Especially after I drove 6 hours to Good Guys Scottsdale in my Mustang with side exit exhaust. Pretty sure I suffered some minor, but permanent hearing loss, even with earplugs. Lost one of my earplugs on the way home, and was dizzy and almost fell out of my car when I got home. I redid my exhaust after that.

My favorite was when I was in Vegas for Optima. Payton King and I were driving my Mustang from SEMA to Pahrump in the middle of the night, 120 MPH, freezing cold, raining its ass off. I looked at Payton and said " I just turned 50" We both burst out laughing, yeah we'll never grow up.
