Is the 1200 ls3 block only good if you buy some of the ls7 parts?

LS3 block price is the same. It takes us a few weeks to get them.

lowered the prices a little....

You are getting a superior crankshaft to a K1 or Compstar and lighter/better rods at about the cost of what a Callies Compstar crank with Compstar rods would be.
