Thanks Wayne, this wrap thing is pretty cool once you learn how to read the tension of the wrap .... more to come!

Thanks Mikael, I'm trying ...

The obligatory photo shoot ... after I finished the body work on the front valance and extension I noticed I'd sanded through the primer on the driver's fender ... so it got primer also.

Thinking I'm getting better at body working these parts ... finally!

Mo better ... shiny!

So once these are dry I'll wrap them and get the front sheet metal installed . Getting closer, thanks for looking ...

Your are welcome Steve!

Thought I'd post up a FYI ... for those that have removed all those GM push pins/tabs from the surround trim from the back and upper front windscreen. Well, they don't go back in ... so after multiple trips to Fastenal, I found these that will hold the trim in place. They push in and then you screw the post in so if you need to remove them you can.

Take a look ...

Oh yeah, these won't RUST!!!

Original GM pins ... won't go back in as designed.

Well, just waiting on my rear rims to show up today and she's all ready for the trip back to Colorado, I'll be absent for awhile ...

Good to hear you'll be ready for your trip.
I was going to check with my body guys supplier on those clips, I wasn't sure they made them anymore.
Be safe.

The General must have had a tool or something for the metal clips ... I couldn't get the sides crimped and then push them in at the same time, so these plastic ones will do. Afterall, it's just for the headliner tension.

Well she's ready for the transport .... big thanks to Vince for getting my rims in just in time. The backspacing came out perfect and I won't have to trim the lip, cool!

I did run into one problem ... she wouldn't roll, the passenger side parking brake was too tight against the drum. I adjusted the stop plate in as far as she'd go but still too tight so I took out the brake assembly for now, I'll worry about that later.

She's heading to Colorado tomorrow, and then I have to clean the garage, thanks for looking ...
