Alan's awesome '70 Chevelle is a great example of what getting bit by the G machine bug can do!
Alan did a fantastic job initially building the car in his home garage. Being his get your feet wet pro touring type build he did all the body and paint work, installed a used 5.3 and 4L60, a popular pro touring full suspension system and added some 18 and 20" bling wheels. After meeting us and then trying out autocross things got exciting. First, the motor was replaced with a 430 hp LS3 crate engine and new 4L65E, the front suspension was replaced with Speedtech parts including ATS spindles and a coilover conversion, and lastly a frame brace and box kit was installed. Next, some Forgelines sporting Falken 315s all around got things real sticky. Finally the rear suspension was replaced with Speedtech parts. Much to Alan's content, the car has gotten faster with each step. Super Chevy was nice enough to invite Alan down for their Suspension and Handling Challenge and put together this great video. Congrats on a great car Alan!
