Default Drill Press

I just bought a drill press from Lowes, (Porter Cable) and I bought a drill press vise for it. I am not sure how it mounts to the table, It has the long slotted grooves in the table but they are big grooves. I pictured a bolt head fitting in there tight but the groove is huge. Any help would be appreciated because I have not found any info online.

Those are called T slots --- there's pretty inexpensive kits for them.... You need to get the owners manual out and see what size the slots are - my guess is 1/2" or 5/8" (pretty standard sizes).

Then pick up something like this: As shown it's a 1/2" kit.

Here -- watch this if this is the kind of "table" you're referring to.

Thanks Greg, the Grizzly kit looks like the way to go, The owners manual doesn't show anything as far as size goes, I think I should be able to figure out the correct size. Thanks again for all the info, I have to go out and shovel all this white s### off of my driveway now. I need your snow blower.

The slots are 5/8"

Not sure if they're T slots or not - can't tell from the crappy photos on the website...

Greg, the slots on my drill press table are a little over an inch. It is a Porter Cable, got it at Lowes. I will check out that website and see if they have anything that size. Thanks for your help.
