Nice find!

I bought a 36" Mittler a year ago, just now making room in my shop for it.

I just picked up a roller from Summit and will be making interior panels for my 69 Firebird with rear seat delete. My question is: if I cut out the panel from a cardboard template, will the finished piece actually be smaller that the original template because of the beads? Do beads cause the panel to contract?

that Is correct, I don't recall how much it's been a while since I have done any.

Watch some Lazze videos where he pre- stretches the panels on a English wheel, etc. Some folks also reverse the beads from one side to the other, I haven't tried that yet.

Best to practice first of course. I need to do a firewall and I am a bit rusty so I will be practicing...
