Thanks for all the good words all. I getting really excited. Here are a couple more of the left quarter panel with the exhaust exit.

Where you able to run the factory style door latches/handles with the fiberglass doors?

I used the factory door latches, inside and outside handles.

What are the plans for the car this summer? Any chance of seeing it out east?

I am still working on my plans for 2012. There is a really good chance I will be going to Nebraska in September for the SCCA Solo II National Championship. That would be the farthest east I may go. I may be able to hit the Goodguys show in Kansas in September while I am on the trip. Most of my time will be on the west coast running autocrosses and a few open track events.

Last year was a great year and I have been getting ready to enjoy 2012. Thank you to everyone that helped me in 2011 and made it a successful first year with the new car. I was very fortunate to have amazing people work on the car to get it were it is at today. Thank you to: Maier Racing, JRI Shocks, Wilwood Brakes, K&N, Mast Motorsports, DPE Wheels, Cort with Seever and Sons, The Rear End Shop, Elite Auto Films, Elite Auto Glass, Car West Elite, PPG, Kent Automotive, my buddy Rob who did all the electircal, and of course my Dad.

We made some geometry changes to the front suspension a few weeks ago that made a huge improvement. I ran the car a couple weeks ago and I was very pleased with results. We are in the process of upgrading the steering components with a pump and box from Turn One. We also adjusted the corner weights again and the balance seems good. With the Michelins, the car weighs 3230. The larger wheels and heavier tires are about 100 lbs more than the CCW's and Hoosiers.

I hope to see a lot of you guys here on the forum at RTTC III. It should be a great time.

Here are some shots from OUSCI where I finished 3rd.

From the cruise night on Friday:

Sure would be curious about what kind of suspension changes you made. Still top secret I guess. Looking at your upright design and what you are trying to do there makes me really curious how you think it is working.

What issues are you trying to improve with a new pump and box ?
