Just came across your thread and have to say that the car is beautiful. Really nice color, bummer about the hood. But it can be fixed. Interior is really nice, like it better than the TMI Chevelle at last years SEMA show. I really want to see this car when you finish as it looks great, sounds even better. Nice engine choice, should move with ease with the torque of the BBC.

Thanks guys! I think the rear seat is more comfortable than the front. I hope to have the front panels in tonight- then I'll shoot some real pics of it all done.

Thanks guys. Your support really helps motivate me.

I sent all of teh stainless window trim out today to get polished. Hopefully we can get the front and rear glass is pretty quick. I wanted to get that done before we go to final 5000 sanding and polish. 8 weeks to go and we are starting to close in on the goal.

I got the glass installed and looking sharp. Having the original stainless for the front and rear windows is the key on these guys. I think we got the gaps as good as they can get.

Next up was a final cut with 3000 and a wool pad followed by the hybrid Finesse-it II pad and compounds. Then the black waffle pad followed finally by the blue waffle and 3M micro polish. It's looking really flat and crisp. My guys are hitting a home run.

23 days to go!
